Good morning everyone! Following the UAA general Good morning everyone!

Following the UAA general meeting this week we have decided to alter the fundraising format for Medical Aid for Palestinians from the Winter Show. This will now be a voluntary donation through gofundme direct to MAP (see link in bio or use this QR code ). There will be no deduction from the sale price of artworks other than the usual commission and it will be up to individual artists how much they would like to donate. The link is open to all including exhibition visitors.

Thanks to those of you that have submitted work to Thanks to those of you that have submitted work to the winter show! Here is a bit more info about it, and how to submit your works! We have now ordered the frames, and these should be available from TC’s shop on the 22nd October, at cost price of £5.

If you haven’t submitted a form yet, you can still be part of the show, but will you would need to order your own frames. Contact us by email for the link. Please also fill in the form linked in our bio, so that we know how many works to expect come hanging day!

Drop off days are all day from 3rd November till the 6th November in the morning as the works will be hung on the afternoon of the 6th. As usual, please have your name, the name of the work, and its price clearly labelled on the back. There is also a small shelf for 3D works. The preview will be Saturday 8th November at 4:30pm. There are two events at TC that day – following the PV, at 6:30pm there will be a public film screening of Taigh Ty Teach and then a talk. Hopefully having both events on the same day will mean more people come to both!

As mentioned before, we intend to donate 5% of sales ( before commission) to a charity. The committee has selected Medical Aid for Palestinians as the charity. This British based charity provides medical and psychological support out in Palestine.
