It’s that time of year again, and we are ready to put together this year’s amazing UAA summer show at Taigh Chearsabhagh!
The key timeline of the show is listed below:
Artwork delivery dates: Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th June.
Hanging dates: Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th June. We generally need about 6 people to be a part of this, so please let us know if you’d like to help – they’re fun days and will be managed by our amazing show coordinator!
PV date: Friday 27th June 7-9pm. Invite your friends for drinks and nibbles, and of course, great art!
The show runs Monday – Saturday 10-4, from 28th June to the 16th August, with the possibility of expanding into a third studio in mid-July.
Pick up works: The show closes at 4pm on August 16th. Close to 4pm that day, or when Taigh Chearsabhagh opens again on 18th August, you can pick up any unsold works – please do this as soon as possible.
You can submit up to 4 pieces, and we will hang as many as possible – some will be held back to rehang when work sells.
Firstly, a reminder that to be part of the summer show, you must have an active membership. Please check that it is renewed (this usually comes around in December), and if needs be, purchase a renewal before submitting. Sometimes it is easiest to set up a standing order.
Like previous years, please use the online form to submit your work. It should be self-explanatory, but any issues please let us know by email. Please ensure you submit all the information, as this will save the hanging team and coordinator a lot of headaches and makes it easier to contact you if and when work sells!
