Conceptual artist based in London. Standing stone and mythology enthusiast!
My work explores human occupation and entangled relationships with land. Drawing from folklore and sacred sites, I am fascinated by the way sites of apparent wilderness are inhabited and perceived by humanity. Most of my work is inspired by my Scottish heritage. I have family on North Uist, and I explore the militarisation, mythology, commercialisation and spirituality of the land. Inspired by myth, I employ changeling characters such as selkies – seal women – to explore increasingly fraught human relationships with the natural world.
