5 small 15x15cm watercolours based on my experience of winter swimming in Uist. Immersing  into the cold water as the choppy waters, waves or your gradual walk slowly overwhelms your senses, only to emerge with an immediate warmth.  Sitting on the shore with a hot mug of coffee to revive your core as you watch the orange floats of other swimmers bobbing on the sea.
