My work has been described as Ethereal, atmospheric and Emotive. Its my response to the evocative and truly spectacular landscape of the Hebrides, the peace and calm or the wild and dramatic force of wind and storm on sea and land. I want to capture that special fleeting moment where sunlight brings a new life and a magical quality to a view. The ever changing weather and evolving landscape, the mood, the light, the colours and the sense of space”.
