It’s that time of year again: it’s stormy out and the clocks are going back…..COP26 is in the news and change is on our minds…
So the title for our Winter Open Exhibition this year in Taigh Chearsabhagh’s Cafe is: Change
We are repeating our format of the small white box frames, but this year we will also accept unframed works on box canvas that are the same size as the frames
External Frame: 20 x 20cm – works that are not this size will not be accepted.
if you are using the frames these will be available for sale in TC shop as previous on our behalf for members who are exhibiting
I’ve managed to buy them in a sale so they are available at a knock down bargain price of £3.00 each. I’ll send an update email when they have arrived and are available to pickup.

SUBMISSION OF DIGITAL IMAGES FOR ONLINE SALES: by email to uistarts@gmail.com By end Friday 3rd December
DROP OFF PHYSICAL WORKS FOR HANGING by end Monday 13 December
members may submit 2 works each
if we have additional frames after the opening we will allow people to buy extra.
All digital images to be at least 300x300dpi, and to include the following info:
- Name of artist
- Title of work
- Media: please also state if you are not using the frames
- Full selling Price – remember that all sales are subject to a 25% commission eg full selling price £100, Artist will receive £75, commission to TC and UAA is £25
- postage and packing cost for online sales
All physical pieces also to have all the above info attached securely to the rear of the frame.
As you can see the opening date is just in time to hit the last posting dates before Christmas. Once digital images are submitted we will use them to promote the show on line before the opening, but we would also like to use the opportunity of the preview on the evening of the 15th for you to invite your family and friends and to enjoy a festive drink with us.
Small parcel rates for First Class post within the UK are £3.85 and unless you state otherwise we will state this in the online listing for p&p. Please note that there is limited insurance cover included in standard postage rates, and if you want to include more insurance for loss or damage you will need to use “signed for”or other form of tracked delivery which will cost more. If you wish to include this please make your own enquiries at Royal Mail website and state your price for this when you submit your online images.
Finally remember you can only exhibit if you are a member, so double check your membership and join up if you haven’t done so already
