The University of the Highlands and Islands North West and Hebrides (formerly Lews Castle College) runs arts courses in Lochmaddy, North Uist. Based at the Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum and Arts Centre, it offers a 4 year BA (Hons) Fine Art and a 1 year NC in Art and Design with Portfolio Preparation. Courses can be taken on either a full time or part time basis.
